FENNEL APPLE SALAD

Fennel is crunchy like celery and smells like mild licorice.  You eat the bulb-like part that grows just above the dirt; not the long stems with leaves.

Ingredients:

1 FENNEL chopped into ½ inch pieces

1 APPLE peeled and chopped into ½ inch pieces

Drizzle of BALSAMIC VINEGAR

1-2 Tb PINE NUTS

SALT to taste

1. Combine all ingredients and serve.
