If you’re looking for a healthier (but still delicious) way to make stuffing for your turkey, look no further!
Ingredients:
2 lbs mushrooms, quartered
2 medium zucchini, cubed
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/2 tsp fresh thyme or 1/2 tsp dried
1 1/2 tsp fresh sage or 1/2 tsp ground
1. Saute the onion and celery in butter until tender.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix, and stuff into the body cavity of a turkey.
3. If you don’t have a turkey, bake the stuffing in a covered dish at 350 degrees for one hour. Adding a turkey neck, chicken thigh, or another piece of meat adds flavor.
